Canada writing contests

This month there are contests for short stories, essays, poetry, and for both published and unpublished full-length works. As always, read the guidelines carefully. Many contests have geographical and age restrictions.

When it comes to Canada writing contests, it's always a good idea to plan ahead. Unpublished short fiction 2, words in English. Short stories translated into English from other languages are also eligible.

Open to residents of Vermont. Short story, poem, play or essay on the theme of Vermont - its people, places, history or values.
